An Email Leads Best Practices For Quality Results In Today’s Market

How is your email marketing campaign going in 2008? If you are utilizing MLM Email Leads for building your Home business, you probably have guessed that times have changed drastically over the last few years. It’s just as easy to pay $30 per month for an autoresponder subscription, upload about 10,000 records over the course of a month, and get yourself 50 - 75 people opting in to your website.
It’s time to leave behind the old glory days. In fact, in the early days, I could import about 500 leads a month and recruit 6 - 8 individuals each and every month into my business. It was like a walk in the park.
But this is 2008, you can upload 100,000 leads per day, and that worn out and tired autoresponder you’re using has such a poor delivery rate, emails are getting blocked, filtered, and some you just don’t know what happened and all you can show for it is a few tire kickers, if you’re luckygo and find what is now working, starve to death while you keep doing the same thing, or completely quit.
This is about finding the solution for a change.
This is what I believe. If you are going to have the results you need when doing email marketing, you should seriously think about getting your own email hosting company, learn to manage it (or find someone who will), send people to your own personal landing page, and have them join your own list, it is the only way to get results in this age. Here are the basic components.
The Autoresponder - Your own email server. Now there are high end systems and middle of the road systems, but you are going to have to forget the days of a cheap autoresponder. You are going to have to learn some “techy” stuff, so buck up and get it done.
The Leads - It’s time for Bulk Email Leads You are going to have to get more leads, and you will need to pay to have your records scrubbed. Get yourself as many leads as you can afford (depending on the capacity of your server), and pay to get them scrubbed. You will pay about $225 to get them scrubbed. Why get them scrubbed? Because, you will get some pretty fierce complaints, occasionally some abusive emails, spam traps, etc. Be responsible with your leads.
The Landing Page - You will need to either design yourself, or outsource the creation of this page to a place like elance.com. The overall cost should be a hundred dollars or less, since it is just one page, and it’s a one-time expense. Just a word of advice - don’t use your company’s self-replicated web page because you won’t have control over the list, and it always looks unique and better when you can send someone to YOUR website - much more professional.
Build Your Own List - You will use a second autoresponder, called a closed loop autoresponder. The one that most people use and I have used since 1999 is Aweber. This is your new $20/month autoresponder. You will build your own list. Why? It gives you more control with your marketing, and, God forbid if something should ever happen to the company you are working with, and they shut their doors, you don’t lose everything because you own the list.
The bottomline - you are building your own list, building a level of trust with that list, and presenting to them the specifics of your home business. Here’s the neat part, you are generating your own leads, that are not shared with anyone else - they are exclusive to you and you alone.
