What’s With the Amway Commercial?

Last night as I was winding down after the soccer team I coach had their latest victory, you know checking email on my laptop while my wife watched TV… and out of the blue a full blown advertisement for Amway. This was a corporate ad that highlighted all of their brands: Quixtar, Nutralite, etc. building their brand, trying to improve their image.
After I thought about it a while, I guess it kind of makes sense. Amway has been in the news with a rather negative light lately; usually doing the right thing but in our industry image a perception can have very large effects. They have a bit of work to do to gain their distributors confidence back maybe?

When I watch the main stream media, in this case MSNBC, I am aghast at the fact that they do not cover what is important to American families especially those families losing loved ones to suicides because of PTSD & the lack of humane attention, by the VA, paid to these needy men and women!! Where are the priorities of America’s main stream media! I will tell you where some of their allegiance is! It’s to advertisers! Did you know that the Amway, Quixtar, Nutralite, commercial has a connection of the up close and personal kind to BLACKWATER!.
The emergence of a private Army, Blackwater, coming out of the ranks of the Amway corp has made me, for one, very angry. To know that Amway or any American corporation would be a part of something so sinister & Un-American blows the mind! I was a distributor at one time and I quit because I saw too much greed not enough compensation for the seller/distributor. It was a 24/7 job & I felt it, the training, bordered on brainwashing. But this latest revelation, a mercenary army, BLACKWATER, far from American, took it over the top for me! Scary times!
