How to get started:
- Get a list of network marketers
- Get a good discount long distance plan
- Print out the list of network marketers and make room to take notes
- Print out the calling scripts (live, answering machine, follow-up) and keep them in front of you when you call.
- Start calling everyone on the list.
- When you reach a person, use the 30-second "live" script
- If the person agrees to look at your business, send the follow-up email
- Then, quickly follow-up by telephone with the "follow-up" script
- >When you reach either an answering machine or voicemail on your initial call use the "answering machine" scripts
- If you reach either an answering machine or voicemail on the follow-up call, use a "follow-up call answering machine" script.
- Make your calls when it is convenient for you. Call between 9AM and 9PM in the time zone of the person whom you are calling. The only time absolutely do not call is before noon on a Sunday.
- Keep a file of the people are not interested and note the company they currently represent. Call back if you hear that company either is in trouble or is closing.
- Weekends and holidays are excellent days to call
- At all times, be polite, respectful, and professional. Never argue, never get annoyed, never get upset, and never engage in "point/counterpoint".
- Have a daily calling plan. Start at 30 minutes per session and work up to 120 minutes.
This business is the best business in the world, but it requires consistent and persistent effort. This effort compounded over the long term of 18-24months will result in mind boggling changes for you and your family!
